We fished out of Dunkirk yesterday. Managed 10 walleye and several silver bass. 93 to 105 ft of water. Mostly worm harnesses one on Renowski.

Yes. I saw the big white boat too. I also saw the Argo cruising around too. Its great being out there and seeing ships like that.
Thanks Lerie..... we made the trip from Rochester to the Catt to fish for perch last October 12, and after looking around we found a nice school of fish to work on..... but it made me wonder if I could have been walleye fishing. You're comments about water uniformity, and no fish concentrations make sense though. weather permitting, I hope to make a few trips in Sept and Oct to walleye fish.
How is the weather looking this weekend from Cat to Dunkirk. Wind and wave site says it is supposed to blow hard on Sat and Sun. I am hoping that it is wrong.
Any one have a forecast for wave height. Dont want to drive all the way there and be rocking in waves and cant fish.
Thanks
Frank

The one I like
Two of us on my rig managed 11 eyes by 1:30 out of Dunkirk. Time constraints or we probably would have got 12. 95'-100'...9-10-11 color running mostly purple renosky's. Get there early, find a school...then start fishing!
The Fish Whisperer and myself managed a two man limit of 12 today. My first limit of the year.
Thanks Whisperer! :)
Launching out of SP in am, gonna head Lil west will post in pm, hope some fish around d
Nice! CaptainJoe:)
Looks like Sunday will be the day I get out. SBH has sucked last few times out. Head west, is SP far enough? Catt or Dunkirk? A little help?:p
