Did it flip to show the back?
Lineman - you have to get it. :D
Yea it flipped & its probably true!
??? - There's a saying that no news is good news. Don't think that's the case here as this Fall weather over the past few days has been keeping most, if not all off the lake. Going to be interesting to see at what depth the eyes will be holding after this blow. Over the past few weeks took the majority of my fish of riggers with 85 feet of cable out. After this weather, I'm thinking that they will be running deeper. Back in the mid-1980's I had one day where I was catching them with 109 feet of cable out.
Just looked at the Sea Grant Lake Erie Surface water temp readings taken at 3:30 AM today and it showed that the lake flipped with a 58 degree surface water temp off of Dunkirk.
I don't buy that the lake flipped, there has been no thermocline set up as of yet. The water temp has been almost the same temp on top as on the bottom in most cases.
