Went out of Sturgeon Pt today at about 7:00 am. Went to the line and trolled east. Started round Pt Abino towards the condos. Then trolled back west. Ended up with a limit - 12 fish. 5 color was the hot pole. Got a few on small dippsy # 2 Setting - No Ring. all were caught on worm harnesses trolling around 1.9 mph. :D
Lost a few at the boat. Much BIGGER fish today. :D
Congrats Capt. Joe! My brother got 9 today in front of the condos on the fence in 55-60 fow. on Pink & purple/blk. sticks & harnesses. 35 ft down.
Went out today. Boated 8 walleye. It was slow at the condos today. Picked 2 off Rynoskys. The other off worm harnesses. What was hot for me two days ago didn't produce today. Everyday is a new adventure.
Sorry for late report but we fished yesterday west of Myers and did a 2 man limit of 12 and released 2. It was not easy like CapJoe said we worked hard for these fish. 4-5 color, all on harnesses. Good Fishing all:)
Fished this morning before the rain moved in, in front of the windmills 20-30 fow. Tru-trip 40's, 50-60 back, all on harnesses. Ended with 6, two guys.
Hello all,
I am new to the game, but have been able to use a lot of information from you guys sharing here. I would like to return with my recent experiences. On the 4th her and I did 8 in the morning upper 40's near the line-7/8 colors, the next day before we got blown off picked up 3 in low 40's by the windmills, last thursday evening I could not find the fish went 43 to 52 by the line with no success, yesterday went to sturgeon started east and tried to west-few marks-few silvers no eyes went 55-68ft, then last night tried by hamburg mid40's boated 3 at dusk including a best for me 31 1/4" 11lber! I mainly run harnesses, not much luck on sticks so far. Have to figure out the suspended fish-my luck is mainly when they are close to bottom. Thanks to all for the helpful tips, I intend to keep learning and in turn help someone else. -J
