Took a ride to SP yesterday & could't get over the parking lot was full, cars & trailers everywhere. Huts were way out East & west. Talked to 2 guys coming off the ice , they were out about 2 mi. & they had 28 all 12"-14" beautiful perch! If it wasn't for the cold, ice, & wind I would consider taking up ice fishing. My idea of ice fishing is a frosted mug with ice cold beer in hand trolling along on a nice July day! Perfect!

Guys were/are driving their trucks out there. Soo. You could drill a hole next to your truck , turn the heater up. Put your beer in the cup holder and fish out the door

There weren't too many at the meeting yesterday. Where the heck is everyone? But there was good news. It looks good for the next few years for WALLEYE fishing will be good. The stars are aligning. Unless the conditions take a turn for the worse everything is lookin good.

Ultimate Outdoors of WNY will be at the Hamburg show March 6-9 and we will be selling products from Kishel's Quality Animal Scents and Lures Inc., Torpedo Divers, Ito Flies, Church Tackle, Mustad Hooks, Okuma Fishing Rods and reels, Tylers Basement Creations (Colorado Blades), and Woodstock Leadcore. We will also be featuring our Tournament proven Fishkiller Worm Harness's along with all the components needed to tie your own harnesses. We also will have some inexpensive Ultra Light combos and perch spreaders for your Lake Erie Perch Fishing. This year we will be featuring 2 new products on the market that are going to be huge. The first gives a new twist on the worm harness which it the 2" ITO Flies Eye Fly which I personally helped to develop and test and let me tell you these things work. Number 2 is the all new Church Tackle Stern Planer. This is going to take the trolling industry by storm. The Stern Planer is designed to directly target those boat shy fish and will help to increase your catch rate. Attn. Southtowns Walleye Members stop in and Get your Kishel's Fish Scent for the Kishel's Day for the Tourmament. Capt. Jim Skoczylas and first mate Rob Kroh of Ultimate Adventure Sportfishing will be conducting several seminars on Lake Erie Trolling Techniques through out the weekend. Capt. Lucas Falkner of Make The Turn Charters will be conducting a Lake Ontario Spring Brown Trout Seminar on Saturday at 1:30 pm. http://www.sportandtravelexpo.com/WN...-Seminars.aspx check out this link for the seminar schedule's as they are updated. We will be adding new products through out the week so stay tuned to find out whats to come. Rumor Has it Bailey will be making an appearance or two to help out at the booth (or at least put his .02 worth in)......LOL

    Thumbs up Ice Fishing

Last catch of the ice season. It's was a great ice year lake Erie gave us, best I've ever seen, hope there's a few more like this one in the cards. And to boot, no cabin fever going on here .

3/16/2014 out fishing with the D/Train.

That's a nice fatty on top. I love the eggs before they loosen up. Throw both sacs in the frying pan with butter n a little minced garlic. Tasty
