capt congrats on the win keep us updated
I was out last night in front of the windmills only got one walleye and two bass. Marked a ton of fish on the bottom in 15 fow. Put the shallow sticks away and went with a little deeper diving wally diver. Picked up one and missed two others.
A friend of mine and I are thinking of coming up later in the month. Any info. on where and when and how would be a great help. We have about a 7 hour drive but love coming up to the area. We usally launch out of the Small Boat Harbor but would like to try out of St. point this time. Thanks
Dad always said when the snowball bushes bloom the walleye will bite! Pay attention to the snowball bush.;)
has anybody tried during the day yet?
Lots of fish out there. From right on shore and out deeper. Most fish I saw were actively spawning and weren't interested in anything live or artificial. I can tell you that there weren't any fish to be seen at smokes mouth. They were mostly towards the last 2 windmills.
If I were going to try fishing them during the day. I would look for the first major drop off at 30fow. And would drift it with a jig and minnow or small blade worm harness.
We were out yesterday & did what Copo said & got zippo. Also a friend was in the corner between smokes & Hamb. beach & did the same, zippo! He marked fish but no takers.
