Thanks guys, will post info on fish when i get it.
The Ultimate Outdoors crew got together again Sunday and this time I was with them , we went on 2 different boats Fishkiller his wife and friends on one boat and Fishfinder his wife and myself on the other . We had a blast 10 color rods were hot , dipsys 175 out on 3 setting and riggers parked in 55 ft range took fish. We went out of the Catt 65 to 70 fow was the depth . The Kishels fish scent worked it's magic and between 2 boats lake erie is less 34 walleye and 5 perch. The split was 15 eyes on our ride and 19 eyes 5 perch to the Fishkiller. What a great day busting chops and catching fish even had Capt Joe in on the fun on the radio. Glad you had a decent day also Joe , I will be out again soon .
Well I had a better than decent day today on the pond. As a matter of fact it was mine, an my crew's best day of the year. A two man limit limit out of SP. 10 color, dipsys, downrigger had a good day. I didn't get releases on the down rigger but when I went to check it there was a fish. You gotta check, check, check. Once the flag went up on the walleye board and then went down. I thought the fish was gone. Nope - it was still there swimming with it. You never know???? Check, check check. In the am 6:30 we had a lot of action and didn't get a break for a goo 1 - 1 1/2 hr. I'm tired. Thank you walleye gods.
We ended up with 3 walleye today. West out of SP. Not as good as it has been. We started late left the harbor at around 11:30. We had a few nice tangles. Lost a port side walleye board and port side TX 44 board but with some crafty driving and luck we got them back. Then we had a nice tangle that we had to get out. It took a long time from fishing. Now I have to restring a few rods and reels. Yeah I can hear Fishkiller laughing. Or should I say gleaming with anticipation of selling $$$$. The screen looked great at times then seen nothing. ????? Oh yeah one perch, a few sheep head, some white perch too.
Anyone still getting eyes during the day & out of where if so? Plan on maybe going tomorrow . (9/20) Thanks!
thanks you!
For those of you with Facebook check out this guy's work some amazing blades and spoons . The paint holds up great I nearly broke a spoon by bending it repeatedly and the paint didn't crack at all.

Anyone think there might still be some walleyes between the catt & Dunkirk this week after the bad winds we had this past week?? Think maybe the perch might be starting ?? Anyone in the know, we maybe trying on Tuesday 10/4 if so I will post report.
went out sat fished from nine till 1:00 pick up four on harnesses just eastof the catt 68 to 72 ft that was on those shitty east wind the fish were there just a tough bite hope that's helps
I can't help you out lineman. I haven't been out in 3 weeks. Boy that's sad. I didn't think it was that long ago. But I just checked. Wind, timing, etc. are the excuses. But I plan on getting out tomorrow also. Gonna try west out of SP to 70 ft of water.
Thanks for the info. guys I think we'll go out of the catt. & give it a try. taking the perch rigs along also.
Landed 2 Walleye today. Threw one back - too small. And a few sheephead. We saw A LOT of fish on the sonar unit. But it looked as though they had lockjaw. ??? We were on the line and saw a few but moved in closer to 74 ft and the screen lit up. But not active fish. ?? Who knows what they were? It was a beautiful day to be out there. Probably not many left. Went out of SP to 70 ft.
We had the same story as capt. Joe only different! But we didn't catch any fish not even a sheephead. Fished pretty much the same depth. Saw lots of fish on the screen but no takers. Then we tried for some perch & didn't get any of those! But it was a beautiful day to be out! FYI, We went out of the Catt. They are pulling the docks out at the state launch & most likely will be done by the end of this week they said.
I was also out in 74feet with the same results, tons of fish but no biters. Still was a great day to be on the water!
Fishkiller - what do you have to say about all this??
Fish are there. But they have lockjaw??
Well I guess we are giving it one last try for the walleyes tomorrow. Maybe we will head out of Dunkirk & come back east a bit. I heard that the school was headed that way, we will see!
Got out today got one 8# & 2 at 4 #'s off center rd. in 70-75 fow. they came off riggers & dipsey's. with harnesse's. It was nice to meet you Captain joe! It was a bit rough to start but then calmed down & was a great day to be out.
My mistake I now remember it was Anchor wheel I met! It's all coming back to me now! Had a senior moment! lol
Maybe I'll make it to one of the ST walleye meetings one of these times when all are going to meet all of you guys at once.
Has anyone been out there? I went by the Small Boat Harbor yesterday and saw a few vehicles with empty trailers in the parking lot. I haven't been. But I was in Destin Fl. for a week several days ago and saw boats in the water, fish on the docks, etc.
A few friends have gone for perch. one day they got 50 the next day they got two! on one has good minnows. SP is the only launch open with docks.
the small boat harbor still has there docks in by the office
I bet you that there's going to be many boats, rv's, etc. going on sale with smoke damage. There are many stored at the old Bethlehem Steel site.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :o
Thank you, back at you!
happy thanksgiving
fyi the docks are still in at the sbh
