Water spouts, small craft warnings, waves @ 4.6 ft which = 9 ft. Oh boy. I bet the fish will be hungry after this blow.
I have been on vacation in the western basin since Thursday on Put in Bay ( no im not fishin) and it has been nothing but wind here also. we have had 3to 5 footers here since we got here, and cold also.
It's depressing as h#ll, day after day high winds and waves wtf

Hey welcome to the board youngbuck it depends on what kind of fish you are going after, most certainly walleye at least! I'm sure a few people will comment on them, mostly I go after perch.
Im looking to catch some walleye! I have a 17ft boat and i have been to the lake 4 or 5 time but i stay inside the wall and troll end to end but i would like to get out side the wall but im not really sure were to go. I have a map of the lake.
Well a not so bad spot is out the south gap, work your way out that way by the wind mills so to speak. There is a marine forecast you can access on line as well as a weather buoy for lake conditions that I like to use.
