The eyes have started moving into the shallows on the Eastern shores. We landed 2 opening night and lost 2. Got skunked last night but saw several eyes in waters. Water level is higher this year so far, about 18 inches which is changing some of the reef structure choices. Areas not fishable last 2 years are now accessible in the desired depths. They seem to turn on/off and to have success during the ON period - you simply have to be out there. SW wind has warmed the US shores pushing the warmer water in - helping push the fish in a little quicker.

has anybody been out? are they boating fish? bait colors? fish size? anyone limiting out yet or just pickin up a couple here and there. got the 'eye' fever but the boat had issues. hopin to get out this weekend.
