Walnut 8-4-13
Finally put a few fish in the cooler. We pulled willow leaf harnesses both Sat and Sun with red on gold doing the best. All fish were taken 50 to 60 down in 75 to 65 FOW. Had a new crew so we started at about the middle of 1st trench turned the boat around and trolled with the wind. I can help set lines this way.

We fished about 6 hours each day and took home 11 for both days. Not the largest number in the marina but we were excited to break the ice. Talk on the radio guys were getting 14's, 17's.
We ran 6 rods total, 2 downriggers and 4 dipsy's. Boat doesn't have a planer board setup yet.24' Caravelle

gonna see how the weather is in the morning, supposed to lay down more in the evening, definitely will be out Sunday. My friends been pounding them off the point now, one has been in the 83' range and other has been in 68' range. So 2 guys at different depths, sure they're all over & in between.
