West end or Central??
Hi all,
I'm coming up from Akron tomorrow morning and need some help on where to launch tomorrow. How are you guys doing in the Central basin? I did great around Memorial day around the islands and debating if I should go back or try the central. Any input is greatly appreciated!
Best,
Patrick

6 for one 1\2 dozen on the other
Right now you have good fishing from Lorain to the Islands area. Lots of fish being caught between Vermilion and Huron in 20 feet out to 30. And quick limits in the Islands area also. So it's really up to your personal preference of areas.

We did well friday & saturday out of Lorain (hotwaters). There are fish from Beaver to east of the dumping grounds. We ran purple harnesses, 3 oz, 75 back at 1.5 mph in 51' of water for best success. Five Fish O's out of 18 total fish.
