Vermilion Reports
I'm planning to come up for Saturday/Sunday trip this weekend at Romps. How has the fishing been out of Vermilion? Plan to fish for perch or walleye, whichever is hotter. Casting for walleye though, not quite setup to troll. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Vermilion
Walleye has been good the last week or so in shallow water 10-20 feet. Cast worm harness or other meat haulers. The bugs are starting so "Mayfly" rig may work well. Closer to shore and more west toward Cranberry. Off the Castle has been good also.
Perch are straight out and a little west in 25 to 35 feet. Scattered. but good size.
