    Default Perch On the Other Side

    I fished off Long Point On today, started in 49', marked loads of fish but few takers. ENE winds to 15kts made it a tough fish in 3-5' waves, dirty water out to 57' and turned around. Back to 49 where they turned on around 12 noon. decent fishing till we quit at 2:30 with app 130 fish for 6 guys. Tough day but good weather coming.

    Friday 2 guys 2hrs 100 perch. Saturday 6 guys 4 hrs 275 perch. Good fising

    Sunday 3 guys 2 hrs 150 perch and Monday 6 guys 2hrs15min for 300 perch with a cleaned weight of 52lbs.

    Big fish are back and it was drop and hook in 49` of water here. Funny, it gets lonely over here. In 4 days fishing I didnt see 8 other boats.

    That's why your perch fishing is holding up better than ours...no competition! When you consider the cost of fishing nowadays...not everyone can afford it. Unlike a lot of other fishing expeditions, perch from Lake Erie is almost a sure thing!
