great knot
Palomar. Day in and day out, the best knot. Works well and easy to tie.
The knot of wrap 6 times tuck thru the eye and then back thru the loop I have simily called the "Fishermans Knot"
Use the Palomar and you should not have a problem.

Palomar X2
I agree with Greg that the best knot you can use on braid is the Palomar.
You will notice that the braid has a bit of a coating to it. This may make it hard to tighten the knot as it comes under pressure so be sure to have it good and wet as you pull it home. Also I use fire line as my main on most of my trolling rods. Great stuff until you happen to pick up another nearby line someway. The stuff is a real PIA to untangle. Most times you will be better off to just cut and retie. Also get some braid shears or sissors, the clippers you use on mono most times don't work well on braid.

Braid line
I stopped using this stuff years ago because its causes lightly hooked fish to become un-hooked (no stretch) and even simple tangles are impossible to untangle. Its a good thing to have a little stretch in the line...it can correct a lot of mistakes.
