Looking for hot spots
I normally don't fish the central basin in the early spring I usually stay out in the western basin. I was wondering if anybody could give me some tips or areas to do some walleye fishing out of edge water. Thanks.

Consider putting in at lorain hot waters. Its free and then drive your boat 5 miles west to just off beaver park. Start bottom bouncing in close with lindy rigs in middle of may til first week of june when things will really heat up with walleye and steelhead. Appriximately 4 miles to the east is avon lake power plant which has a pay dock. Water is warmer and they take fish all year long.

I fish out of the Cleveland area. Usually around the first week in May you can start catching good numbers of Walleye. You can catch some in April, but your better off going west.
