    Default See You Next Year

Well, after the weather last weekend and the weather this week I decided to put the boat in winter storage last Friday afternoon.

It was great checking the boards everyday to see what people were posting and I was really hoping that I would be talking to some of you on channel "68" before the end of the season. But next year will do, providing the green algae doesn't kill the lake off this year.

Was going try to have a perch fry at my house this year but I think time is running out. I got about 1000 filets and I hope that fish will keep in the freezer over the winter months. Any thoughts on that or should I start cooking it up?

Out of Fairport Harbor. Chardoncrestliner ("Dale")

I always freeze my fish in water. They last several years like that. Vacuum sealing also is great and takes up less room in freezer. But if it was me, I would start frying some up to. Hard to beat lake Erie perch and walleye anytime

Caught my last perch of the season Tues. in front of the cabins at Geneva-44ft. Only 1 other boat on lake. Nice size-7 of 22 were 12in. Couldn't stay as long as wanted-loaded the boat and headed for winter. Thanks to all who contribute to this site during the year-the info really helps those of us who don't live that close and can't keep up with current conditions. Till spring & HAPPY HOLIDAYS
