Took my dad out today at noon and headed out to the SandBar! 35-20 line just north of the pack! Limited in 2 1/2 hrs. Fishing was tough until we figured it out. Used spreaders with green and pink blades, let about a 1/2 reel of slack out after it hit bottom and pulled up slow!!! Nice size 21lbs, very few junk fish. Water was still dirty but getting better!

Father in-law and I were a bit east of the pack at the Sandbar. 43ft of water and once we figured it out it was game on. 60 fish in about 3 1/2 hours. Nice size also. Great day on the lake.

Forgot to say that a lot of guys were struggling. It seemed real spotty. Boats next to us were not doing too well. So good luck to all.

It was tough out there. We had limited time and 150 boats around us and never got it going before we had to leave. At least the weather was nice. We were out at the Sand bar as well and didn't see a whole lot of people catching fish. 2 here, 1 there but no one who was pulling them up consistently. Any other areas closer to Lorain that people are getting perch?
