    Default Hot Waters

Hope to come up from Akron this Saturday. Is there a better way than taking Rt. 57 up from the turnpike? Anyone catching walleye out of Lorain? How far out? Thanks!

Hey, lmoore24, your best route is to exit at the SR 57 exit (exit 8). Also, I don't believe the turnpike has an extit for SR 58?

Regarding walleye: north out of Hot Waters, 52 fow. Perch 32 fow.

    Hook em up.

    Default Rt 58 exit

There is an exit for Rt 58 It`s only a few years old so is not on older maps or GPS units.

Thanks everyone for the posts but my husband decided we would go to Fairport Harbor, so I"m mapquesting directions. The GPS is in the boat. Been trying to find fishing reports for walleye to the east. Will post after our trip tomorrow. The weather report sounds great. Hope the fish think so too.

Spent 8 hours for 2 walleye - 7lb and 4 lb. Caught other "throw back" fish. Heard they were biting out of Ashtabula. So, maybe the next nice Saturday we'll head further east. By the way, the lake was beautiful. Should have brought the water skis!

2 eye's in 8 hrs, well you didn't get skunked. But I would go to Lorain long before i made that long ride to bulla. I spent the day there (Lorain) on Tue. Better fishing there and you'll not have to run 25-30 miles out like you will by going to Ash. But if you do. Take the water skies, just in case.

I'll be going to the waters.
