Any new reports on the steelhead and walleye? I am thinking of trailering that way in a day or 2. Thanks in advance.

I generally fish the North side near Wheatley, but they are about 2 weeks behind due to weather. I can trailer to Avon Point. My understanding is to head about 10 miles NNE (15-20 degrees) and set up in 60 fow. I don't have numbers to go by but would love to give it a shot.

I have good reports from fairport harbor and geneva area. Buddy has been fishing a tournament over there. He's been doing well in 60-65ft pulling colorado blade spinners 30-40ft down for walleye. May be too far east for you, it sounds. No info on steelhead. Good luck.

You might want to try going out of wildwood, charter boat called popeye
got 35 walleye , 9 steel head on the 4th the next day they got 17 steelhead check out the pictures on perch fishing/discovery

went out of edgewater on sunday, trolled for about 4 hours and only caught a white bass and a 12 inch perch. changed colors and depths repeatedly, nothin worked. didnt sound like anyone else was hittin them either. anyone else have any luck?
