    Default Jet Diver durability/performance

I noticed on a couple of my clear Jet Diver 40s that there is water inside the compartment with the ball bearing.
It seemed like we still caught fish, but not sure if that water affects the function.
Are these Jets broken and useless now?
Will they still work for diving down, but not rise/plane up to the surface once a fish is on?
Are the Dreamweaver TripZ divers more durable?

note: I fish out of the Erie, PA area, so we are often targeting fish that are down 30, 40 and 50 feet deep. Jet divers work great with Offshore boards and crawler/spinner rigs.

    Any thoughts or insight appreciated.

I'm slowly switching to Tru trip divers for the same reason, have some in use 4 years now without any problems
