Walnut Creek 8/6
Launched out of Walnut Creek at 7:30 AM. Ran straight North to 75 of water. The Garmin was loaded with marks from 45 - 52 deep so we set up heading East at around 2.4 mph. We ran 2 Bandits of the port side at 50/215 and 50/230 with a 4 oz weight and 2 flicker minnows on the starboard side with the same program. We also had two #1 Dipseys off the back with spoons on the 0 setting at 80 back. The Bandits were blue chrome and popsicle. They picked up 3 nice 20 fish real fast. I ended up catching another on a flicker and 1 on a blue and orange spoon before we started to run out of marks on the screen. By this time we had travelled about 2-3 miles so we picked up and ran back west to set up with the wind to our back again. We picked up 5 more within an hour and when we started to lose marks we turned around and trolled back until we got our final 2. We finished with our 2 man limit and threw two more back bringing the lines in. They were all quality fish 18-26. Only one short today. By the end of the day we had 5 Bandits and one Flicker Minnow on. The blue chrome caught half the fish.
