    you should have a marine radio so you can lisen to wheater gps so you can get back to dockand mark your fishing spots and two chases of coors light to injoy the day some can handle that out there some cant

    A marine radio to listen to the weather, an eye looking to the sky for the black clouds , and dont leave your common sense on the dock---a fishing pole and some worm harness's would be a good idea

    like everyone else radio , flares that are up to date distress flag, life perservers, map, compass, registration,those are the basics, dock rope.now if want to catch walleye ill tell you how to fill your cooler email me at,,,,,,,,,,,,, [email protected]

    I STRONGLY suggest taking a safe boating course from either USCG Aux., or the Power Squadron. Those classes will tell you EVERYTHING you need to be legal, and everything you need to be safe.
