Weather bouy

Anyone been to the bouy lately? I heard a rumor that the walleye are back on our side of the line and nice quality.

The weather genious at N0AA got it right yesterday regarding an east wind, but, when we started trolling just west of weather bouy, the winds grew till we were in 3 to 4 footers. They predicted flat to 2 feet. Trolled west past the condos in 60 to 62 fow. Put 7 in the box with 5 throwbacks. All on west troll. Turned back and it was miserable fishing going into the wind. Not complaining, just say'n. Dipsys #3 setting @ 120 to 135. Dispys #1.5 settting @ 85 to 95. 7 and 8 color leadcore. Pink, purple, and antifreeze double willows. Good marks all the way. Time for me to dump the meat and go big boards and stickbaits. Tired of the junk and constant checking missed hits and having to rebait. Fish kept were not real big. 20 to 25". Throwbacks around 15".
