whats the best time for perch and walleye out of walnt creek

I bought my boat beginning of August last year and Walleye were on strong then. By the beginning of Sept Perch fisherman were starting to gather. I know the Walleye started way before August, Maybe June - September would be some of your better fishing for Eye's.

Perch fishing was very good as early as mid-April when lots of dead and dying smelt were evident near shore. Usually, by mid-May, the Perch can be found in 20-30 ft. depths. That's usually where I start looking.

so if I went out of walnut this week end for perch or walleye I would not only be wasting gas but my time to ?????

doing ok now on perch as well as walleyes have been picking up pretty good
