  1. Default Proline/Merc Problem

I have a 2006 Proline with a 2006 merc opti When I turn the key to the run position I do not get the accompanying beep nor do my instruments react. I also do not have trim at the motor I have power to the motor from the battery and I have dash power for accessories

    Any ideas? Thanks

Check out the plug in connectors on all of the pigtails. During the winter the cold shrinks/contracts the wiring harness and some times unplugs them slightly so that they no longer make contact, especially if they are just a little on the short side and seem to be at their limit/ tight when plugged in. You can't see the separation with your eye but it still happens and is just enough that things don't work. Not saying this is your problem but it is a common occurrence. It would help if you knew what colored wires supported the things that do not function. Then locate the pigtail that has those wires and unplug and plug them back together.

Check your 12 v connections on the engine and battery. If you can move the wires, they are loose and my be corroded or just need tightening.
I can only hope I have earned the freedom that has been given me.

Check to make sure your kill switch is plugged in. I have a Proline as well. My mistakes have been shutting it down without putting in neutral. Then when I go to start I won't because it's still in gear.
