screwy wind tuesday

Went out this morning and most people probly would have turned around but I kept goin. Wind was blowin like hell from south with 2-3ft whitecaps. I managed to boat one eye about 20 in. and toss a 14 incher back to grow up. Was starting to think I really should head to dock as the waves were coming over the surfboard ( my Ranger) from all directions but I didn't, I picked up and headed north towards luna pier and found calmer water right on a good clarity change in water. Thought I was gonna get em as I drifted right along with the cloudy/clear waterline. Caught a bunch of junk and not another eye. Called it an early day as the lake turned to glass on my end and I lost my drift. Got me a nice dinner for one. Ill get em thursday. Lol. Good luck to all.

Should of went more North . E and S bouy and the Dumping grounds were on fire Sat- Monday . Easy limits and lots of boats all 3 days . Trolling harnesses , spoons , and casting were all getting fish . Mostly smaller fish in the 15-18 inch range .
