Good morning members, today kicks off another year for Kentucky wounded heros walleye for warriors event just wanted to remind those involved the captains meeting is tonight at Magee east marina at 5 pm. Fishing starts tomorrow!! Would like to encourage those who missed the opportunity to get involved this year to checking out next year great event! These guys bringing 61 purple heart wounded vets up from Kentucky for 3 days of hooking into lake Erie walleye. All volunteer based your gas bait and knowledge for a great cause, photos from event to follow take care.

This is a great thing to do for those that gave some or those that gave all for our freedom! We just completed the 5th walleye for warriors on SaginawBay on fathers day. We took out 240 vets this year. Sure would be nice to have a lot of folks helping out and supporting those that supported this country.

This will be the Reel Sport Team first time in this event, and will be special for us as our father/grandfather was a ww2 wounded warrior shot in the head at Evil Jima and survived to teach us how to fish and spent every chance he could with us on the lake till the day he died,there will be one open seat on the boat for this special Marine. So if you see anyone of these special warriors take the time to say hello or give a wave . A special thanks needs to be giving to all the people behine this event and all the sponors.
