    Default Trolling 4-12

Trolled west of f can pulled 6 pretty quick then went dead for a couple hours. RR 35-45 ft back 1.0-1.4 mph. Variety of colors took fish but purples and bright colors were best. Picked back up a little and ended with 11 all over 28" and all but one was spawned out. Not bad for the first trip of the season.

Are you running them with divers or not.

Nice! I'm hoping to get out in a few weeks. Been a long winter.
I can only hope I have earned the freedom that has been given me.

There were a ton of boats at F can yesterday, so staying on a trolling pass to hit my marks was not always possible, but we did do pretty well going 8 for 10 before we had to head in. Our hot colors were Pink Lemonade, Halloween, and Fire Tiger DHJ's 25-45 back at 1.0-1.3mph. It was a really fun day, due to perfect weather conditions, and my customers each caught their personal best walleye to date, so they were thrilled.

I'm new to walleye fishing in Lake Erie. Is a DHJ a Deep Husky Jerk? If so what size is best 10 or 12?

Thanks to all for the info everyone posts… Big help to newbies like me...

Someone asked what color Halloween is through a PM, but PM's don't allow us to attach pictures to a reply, so I'm posting it here.

Thanks for the reply. We was out Sat and ran rr 100 back and no fish. Guess we was too deep. Thanks again. FISH ON!

That Halloween color has been mentioned several times now. Nice looking fish.
