The corner at shore on the right hand side if there is snow u can go down there...or play it safe and take the dyke wall down untill you find a decent path down to the beach there is a good one down about 80-100 yds good luck be safe and post reports for your fellow fisherman during the winter

Did you end up making it out, or did the weather turn you away? That weather sure killed the ice. Heard reports a few got stuck out there.

Got a text message from a friend of open water out in front of Reno Beach. 200 yards long. Approx 2 miles out? That dang current there makes it always set up last. Lots of melt off last few days. Might be best to walk & spud way out. Mark with pine bows.

    Default the dyke

I would not drive anything down the dyke. There are signs stating no motor vehicles allowed . The last winter we had good ice there, DNR were ticketing people for doing that. Just a heads up.

They also have a no motor vehicle sign at the end of last parking lot at Crane Creek/Magee Marsh. Think they will enforce that? I took it as (Trucks, Cars, etc.). Not ATV's or Snowmobiles.
