    Default ballast perch

    Fished 1 mile east of ballast Friday morning in 30' water. 5 man limit in 3 hours. 38lb at cleaners. done by 10:30 and beat the heat. Mostly 8-9" with some up to 11".

    Thanks, hope they are still there after last nights storms. Plan to fish with my wife once things clear up.

    Fished east of ballast on Saturday. Got late start around 1:00 and fished until 3:30. Kept 20 between three guys. Lots of small throwbacks. Lots of junk fish. Even worse were the flies biting your ankles. We left because we couldn't take the flies any longer. Long pants with ties at ankles next time. I think you could do pretty well if you got a start early in the the morning.
