If it isn't a hassle, I may hit you up for a couple more of those bare nakeds.. those things look awesome - hopefully they work half as good!! Didn't even get a chance to get the speed down and see how it'd do.

Tru trip question.. where do you zero the line counter at? Whenthe tru trip hits the water at the right dive angle, or with the diver at the rod tip?

Most people zero the line counter with the TRU-TRIP @ the rod tip, no matter what you are using, @ the rod tip, then there is never a doubt where you are @. The Bare Nakeds have really been a hit, it just goes to show you do not have to go in stealth mode all the time to capture eyes.

You hit zero at the rod tip always, keeps it simple. Mike

learned from a popular skipper on this site to zero with rod parallel with water and T.T. at surface, this keeps rookies from reeling snap into rod tip and damaging rod tip and eventually line causing breakoffs. Jeff

I think it makes a difference if you are using inline boards or big boards. Inlines zero at the rod tip and big boards you allow for the distance from the snap to the water.
