[Fish Tales]

Sunday we limited out on the North side of Kelly's 40 jet's 28'-38' leads with spoons. The dipsy's took 1/3 of the fish on 3 setting 42' back with harnesses. Best speed was 1.8.

Monday same spot short of our limit same program 52' to 70' back. Picked up bigger fish on this trip. Had to cut the trip short due to commitments.

You had better luck than us. Tried the same area on Saturday and Sunday, working with a few reef runners and rapala deep tail dancers. Put a couple fish in the boat but not enough to call it good.

Skipper9 shared some info (THANKS MAN!), but I didn't have most of the hardware he suggested. Going to have to order some tru trips, stinger spoons and more RR colors. Everytime we were getting ready to head to the spot he shared, we'd whack another fish and decide to stick around a little longer. It was the wrong decision.

Did better than us. Dad and I went out on Sunday and Monday and tried everything in the book from trolling with spoons and rapalas and harnasses to casting with some old fashioned erie dearies. Nada all day, either day; tried out by Kellys Sunday and on Monday off of Starve, South Bass, and Green. We saw some folks getting them, but luck just wasn't with us; you know how it is.
