Long read, but everyone should

Think about your boat set up and what to do in an emergency. This is one good long read, but another reason to have/use a kicker motor for trolling and don't count on your main engine for everything.

glad everything worked out ok for everyone....this "captain" is a better writer than a skipper...
we all must remember what a hostile environment our love of fishing dictates.
if you are not bank fishing, there are common sense rules that should be followed and most of these rules were broken or ignored on this outing...jmo...

Great Read. Both humorous and scary at the same time. A timely reminder for sure. We can never be too careful and patience on the water is key.

While unfortunate, sometimes these things are good to read about. I will surely use it as a reminder to go over all my gear mid season.
