Headed out from sterling in the 2 to 4's + ENE winds. Motored out to 25 f.o.w. set up and headed south, crossing the waves. In and out of the troughs. Missed alot fo fish due to not being able to read the boards as they were either skipping waves or not being seen. But we did get 11 walleye within 2 hours. Took another hour to get that last one in. We had quite a few doubles and a couple triples. Nothing but junk on bouncers. 1 oz inlines 15 to 35 back at around 1.3 ( as we were going from .9 to 1.7 most of the time). Purple was the color today. The waves were high enough that one came over the side of the boat while we were both working on getting fish in. We never turned around, just made one long pass.

We were west of the mi/oh line by quite a bit. And yes we headed south as the waves were headed SW. If we went with the waves, less time to see the boards as they were stacked and big. Going to fast going with the waves. Hope to be out there sunday.
