East of the cans

Started setting gear at 6am Sat. and made a big loop East of Niagra and D can. We were catching fish before all the gear was out. Boat speed was 1.7 or so, colors didn't seem to matter. The most fish came on harnesses behind a 2 ounce 40 back. The dipseys picked up several pulling worm burners and scorpions. Marked a lot of fish all day. The white bass tore us up at times. We ended with 24 eyes in the cooler at 11am...dropped at least 12 at the back of the boat, but the kids I had on board had a great time. Unexpectedly there were very few boats out and the weather was great...Great day on the lake! Good luck out there!
