    Do you have a web address for western Lake Erie water temperatures? Looking for that 42 degrees

    Today's a pretty limited report due to the cloud cover yesterday. Check the archives to get an idea of the last week.

    I’m a little confused now when we were on the reef Sunday the temperature was around 39 degrees thecurrent temp according to coast watch is 34.2?

    You are absolutely right, the temperature last week was 39 degrees out in the reefs. The temp that coastwatch is referring to is the average across the whole lake. Below is a link from noaa that shows the different temperatures in the different areas of the lake. If you notice the area around the reefs, it's in the
    40's. With the weather forecast predicting warmer weather, we should be in the 42 degree range by Saturday.

    Surface temp may also vary quite a bit via your sonar compared to lower depths.
