When the winds allowed, we fished Niagara, Crib and Touissant Reefs last week (Sat - Tues). We caught several walleyes in the 4-6 lbs range with the top fish going off at a solid 8lbs. We were grounded through Thursday and Dr. Bugs (Dave) told us about fishing the Central Basin. We went over there for one day (Friday) and caught three nice fish between 7-9 lbs. It was a great trip and we met good people in the area as well. Our best bait remained shallow running crankbaits in natural colors over 4-7 foot of water on the reefs.

Have a safe year.
