bad day on the lake

went out yesterday east of kellys trolled with jet and spoons. 25 sheep head and no walleye 5 hours. horrible, went perchen , 15 perch 4 hours. yuck. any secrets???

what were you using on your jets? spoons or worm harnesses or what?

i was using night crawler harnesses and caught 10 of 12 i caught on them. the other i had scorpion spoons on and i was east of kellys

Shawn the only thing I know for sure is krogers had walleye on sale. Walleye out in the lake average about $24.00 per pound, kroger $9.00 per pound. You do the math lol. Iam tired of having to go so far to get them. good luck

That's funny and very true....
I only jig for walleye....Everyday in the spring, Fill that freezer and be done for the year...I hate trolling and the it costs alot of money...In the spring it take's longer to get out of Turtle creek then it does to get to the fishing spot....We managed to get 243 fish this spring...Needless to say the freezer is full....Good luck and be safe....
