well finally home after 3 week on the lake. Called many friends to come out and experience the great fishing. As of last week on the 6 Aug plenty of walleye could by had west of crane creek in 24-25 feet water. Sometimes a morning bite sometimes afternoon. We were taking 30 eyes a day, some days no sorting at all, spoons behind the jets were still good but the plugs starting picking up with less trash fish. One day out in 18 feet water got our 30 eyes and only had to measure one fish, rest all over 20 inches, not huge ones but nice eaters. One day went out north of "B" can bout 4 miles and got some nice perch by erie standards, small for lake michigan standards. Well the pressure sure died off these past weeks too. Went out couple of afternoons and didn't see nary a boat. Well, as always had a great time fishing, and at cedar point. well gonna do the night thing for kings off waukegan this weekend hope to pound some kings.
