Default Trolling with binder clips and rubber bands

What size binder clips are you guys using, I bought the small size and number 14 rubber bands, thinking of putting my tow line right thru the handles of the binder clips. I have heard other guys attach them to a shower curtain ring, does anybody have a picture preferably of how the clips and bands they use

When I used big boards I used shower curtain rings and rubber bands. They worked great for steelhead, but getting the size of the rubber band right for walleyes was more difficult.

We played around with tons of releases and bands over the years. We have used Big Al’s releases and rubber bands for over 2 years now and have no complaints. Plus they guarantee them or they will buy them back. You get 4 different size bands with them too. Check them out. Bigalsproducts.com

Im using size 10 rubber band with a multi purpose clip from Amazon attached with a shower curtain hook. the rubber band will either break or pull out of the clip depending on how far I set it in the clip when i have a fish on. Size 14 is to long and stretchy it will drag the fish. I'm still learning big boards this will be my first full season using them but I have tested this method and it works.
