Fishin out of Catawba, was planning a run to the reef complex tomorrow to jig for eyes, but it doesn't appear the conditions will allow it. With a heavy west wind in the cards and with a couple of true newbies along, I thought maybe we'd swing around the corner of Marblehead and see if we can throw a few perch in the box and avoid the NOAA forecated early 5 footers - may just be a hangover from the winds of tonight, I don't know. Having never fished/perched over there, I was hoping for a little advice. FOW? I have heard they're fairly close to shore this time of year? Any truth to that? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Just hoping to narrow the starting point a little.

Tight lines to all.
