According to the precision trolling app this is the Bandit Deep Walleye dive chart:
32ft line is 10 ft down
50ft line is 13ft down
60ft line is 15ft down
70ft line is 16ft down
80ft line is 17ft down
90ft line is 18ft down
100ft line is 19ft down
117ft line is 20ft down
145ft line is 21ft down
195ft line is 22ft down
That's where the chart stops. I know the lure says 27ft but this is for the width of 10lb mono so basically 30ish braid. You can obviously assist this with in line weights but to go deeper I'd just switch to jet divers with stinger spoons or something personally.Last edited by Pauken23; 05-14-2017 at 09:40 PM.

Btw, the precision trolling app is free itself and each lure you buy is $1.99. I bought Deep Walleye Bandits and Luhr Jenson Jet 40's as that's what I use the most.

Also, as opposed to a line counter reel I bought Berkley Tracer braided line. It goes from light green to dark green every 2.5ft so every time you see light green end you count 5ft. I also put a special mark on the light green every 25ft. You can take a permanent marker and mark any light color braided line. I fish a lot of different water and don't have the money for line counter reels that I'd only use on Erie.

i'm assuming you have to add a 5 or 6 foot leader of mono off the jet to put your crankbait on? if you do not go this option you run out 200 ft of line then put your board on?

Yes I put a flouro lead from the braid. I'd actually never put out 200ft line on a Bandit. To get deeper I'd put a Jet 40 on and pull a stinger spoon or harness. Furthest I've run Bandits back is 115ft to hit around 20ft down. So, I if I'm fishing 30fow I might use some Bandits to cover the column and set a Jet 40 back 115ft to get it down to 28ft (also according to the precision trolling app info). The app is amazing and I'd recommend picking it up for anyone with a smart phone. Free app and $1.99 per each lures info. As I said I only bought Deep Walleye Bandits and Jet 40's as that's what I use. Last edit I promise Others have mentioned the precision trolling info being off. In my experience it may be a little off and you're probably running a little deeper than it says you are. Just the other day I was fishing 22-26fow and my Bandit out 115 didn't ever hit the bottom to my knowledge. Speed and line width are factors obviously too. Basically, spend enough time out there with different leads of line out and you'll figure out how much line you need to get down where you want. For instance, I saw a thread on here last year that a guy said his jet 40's ran 33ft down with 100ft line out. Precision trolling has a Jet 40 at 25ft down with 100ft line out. I think the answer for me is somewhere in between. Maybe some others can chime in with their knowledge?

we have line counters jet 40s jet 30s last year we used harnesses mich stingers homemade worm burners which work very well but now was using bandits also we run heavy bottom bouncers straight out back days we limit days we dont and we use mono leaders.5-6 ft all different kinds of lures had good luck with j sevens and fives. so you run the bandits straight off the board 50-60 back without a jet we have not used a jet with bandits and average 50 back now 10 fish 3 trips but short 3-4 hours experimenting maybe Tuesday an all day trip

I have never heard of anyone using jets or trutrips with Bandits. I have added inline weight ahead of bandits with success when I was experimenting one day.
