    Default walleye & pearch fishing

Fished 15-17: Fri. fished G can for walleye. Caught a bunch, kept 16. The one's we kept were 20- 25". Caught on TD's and Rattle Tots. Anywhere from 80-120 back, at 2.5 - 2.8 speed. Sat. went Perch fishing to give arms a break from catching all those little Walleye! Went w. of A can caught nice perch, 4 man limit, done at 11:30. 30 lbs at Cutchers. Same Sun. again 30 lbs. had to move 2 times done at 12:00. A great weekend with 3 great friends. Had a bonus Sat. a fish fry! Boy that's some good eating.

No, we caught those bigger fish a mile or 2 east of G. Hit a little pod stayed on them. When the wind started it was a one way troll. Finished with TD 11 on all lines those, caught the bigger eyes.

No numbers, we were 1.5- 2 mile just n. of g can. Stay away from pack, We were trolling S. Found this pod of nicer fish, stayed on them. Try different baits. Started with Rattle Tots caught omg. it seemed like we couldn't keep the little one's off. Tried #9 td's same story. Put on the TD 11's and every 3 fish was a nice one, and also we didn't have to crank 110-120 feet in. Running 11's back 50 or so, again you have to experiment. Oh yes a lot of S turns. We quit at 11:00 wind came and messed our program all up.

I prefer emeralds but use what ever the bait store has available be it Golden Shiners, Fat Head Minnows or a mix of Golden and Emeralds.
