Sound like same story- atleast for me. Atleast the weather was nice. Fished out of TC on Satrday, hoping it will be the day....well NOT. On Locust at 650 am an 5 sheephead, 2 white bass. Actually 1st sheephead gave me hope on 1st hit only 1/2hour into morning. Had enough at 11am, after 4 moves. Fueled boat up at Lumberjacks, got dock ropes and went back to islands for year. 9(e harbor) Wish I could of witnessed the jigging limits in spring, maybe the past wind has things a little off...HAH- but went where I knew I caught'em last year. Nice boat ride though. Ending up fishing the east side of kelly shoal. Got some perch, and watched the storms pass though. Now Sunday- Thanks to captain at Highway Bait, who ever your were. Was heading to shoals again, he told me stop at Gull- SE corner, you get em. Left at 11:57am, 60 perch- big. One 15"er. Did have lots of suspended marks north of shoals, and on west side of kellys. No bits yet- but it will happpen.
Well fish on...get the net....etc. Somthin Fishy-Ron
