Must have a decent size boat, lake was too rough for me all weekend, haven't fished since Friday.

we went to Barcelona on Friday on was told to go to 77 FOW and fish between 50 and 60 feet down and we did and got 15 between 3 of us. nice size , watermelon harnesses worked good but so did 10 colors of lead core with a Renosky in rainbow trout color. good luck.

I guess lake erie doesn't understand that this is my last day of vacation. NOAA forecast was for 1-3 footers, went out at 530am to find 4 to 5 footers. Tried a run out there but it was not fishable for my boat. Not safe for an 18 foot boat of any kind in my book. Oh well, have to wait for her to let me out there another day. Went to Chatauqua and caught largemouth for the rest of the day. Kinda like kissing your sister....

The wave height reports were correct. They don't measure from the trough to the crest. But rather the amplitude of the wave. So ya kinda double what they have listed. Couple years ago I had an entire week off. Every day it blew. Never got out on Erie. Talk about a wasted vacation week.

When the cold winds blow and we're covered up in snow,
I’ll be on the ice a' Fishin’, down through a hole.
When the ice goes out and the days get hot
I’ll be out there a fishin’, in the same damn spot.
