Stoney point perch

went out perch fishing fri, stoney point 26 feet of water and caught 90 between three of us had to leave early to referee football. Used perch rigs yellow beads, red beads, no bling with red hooks worked best, let it sit on the bottom with slack on the line, whole minnows, bring it up alow feel the bite and let slack in the line almost all were barley caught in the lip.

When we started the fish were up off the bottom took them awhile to drop down caught a lot of fish early that were dinks and warm to the touch then started catching bigger ones they were getting colder. Started at 9:00 ended at 1:00 well over 150 fish some sorting and very little junk fish and 2 farm animals.

Can't wait for the next decent day! Hadto go to a wedding yesterday and on call for work today, COME ON WEATHER COOPERATE A LITTLE IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS!!!!!!

Its nice to hear someone trying the slack line. It don't sound right but all my perch have been caught this year that way. Seems the quality perch are wisin up. They aren't bitin very hard. Nice catch, good report. Yeah this weather has been keepin my ranger at the dock. Still not ready to call it quits though.
