Default Any Western Basin eyes? Please?

So we been getting the perch, and I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth, but if we could chase some eyes after getting our perch that would be awesome. Anyone having any luck?

Sunday was my first Erie trip in 30 years. We had a slow/steady pick on the south east side of Kelly's in 30 feet. Shallow cranks 90 feet back & 20-23 down on the downriggers & stingers behind the #2 65mm deeper divers 130-140 back with #20 braid. 10 Keepers & put back several shorts. Got a late start & had to grind but to me that's just fishing.

My buddy was casting for walleye on the rocks Friday and caught 4 keepers.CoVanna put out a fishing report recently and said that some are catching walleye casting in 4-16fow and a few limits are being caught.

4-16 feet of water around Kelleys? What rocks are you referring to?

Both Gull and Kelly Shoal get to under 3 ft in a few spots. Fished south end of Gull casting gold weapons both Sat and Sun. Caught 16 keeper walleye in those two days with 3 guys on the boat each day. Most fish were caught in 8-11 fow.

Thanks pwblmr, can you provide any details on retrieval speed or depth you hooked them at?

Well when they are caught in 8ft of water it is hard to tell how deep you are. You have to cast and then as soon as the lure hits the water start to slowly retrieve or your worm will be gone from the gobies.

Have had a few reports of casters getting them shallow...Kellys Shoal, gull Shoal and West Reef.
