Got a late start due to the wind manged to get 2 walleyes 2 yellow perch and
6 white perch. South of Niagra noon till 3

Got to SE Kelley's with one kid sick and another crying at noon, got 2 before my wife said these people arn't enjoying this, let's go. I said I don't even have all my lines and haven't got to my numbers! Bandit ib frozen got both 80 back. Had 4 out plus some dipseys. Damn ib frozen! Got to buy a few more.

Went out of Metzger Marsh public ramp about 8:30 am Friday - Waves higher than predicted so went out near first boat in 19 fow. Drifting for perch while getting rods ready (first time out this year). Daughter pulled in a 10 inch right away so dropped anchor. Wind and waves moved us a bit, but we ended up with 12 nice perch, about 6 short walleye, couple of fighting sheephead casting harnesses. Wind calmed down to almost nothing so headed toward intake and drifted for perch / walleye. Couple more shorts then on last cast 21 incher. Right as we hit the channel the wind started kicking. Fun day getting all the tackle ready, catching some fish, and family time.
