I just start making trips last fall to Erie I would consider myself a former bass fisherman converting to perch and walleye. I fished all last fall for perch with my young boys and purchased 4 trolling rods to give walleye a shot this spring. Don't know much about what I am doing so I will be checked my in with you a few times this spring if that's ok. I just got a small 21' fish/ski boat and really just don't want to get skunked out there. If I can produce a fun experience for my two boys who are under 10yrs of age I have fishing partners for life. We have already accomplished fishing managing the erie waves and they still had fun perch fishing so hopefully I can get them hooked on walleye fishing too. Look forward to hearing from you in future.
