    Yes, that's how it will be running in the water. The bait is a total of 80' back with the weight splitting the difference between the bait and the board.

    Just remember that speed will effect the depth too. I forgot to mention that these are based on a speed of 1.0mph. The faster you go the higher the baits will rise in the water column.
    I'm trying to figure out how to run snap weights to the correct depth. I agree p-10 at 80 ft back will run 10 ft deep. But at 40/40 with 1oz has to run deeper than 14ft. A 1oz weight at 40 back at 1.0mph will run 16ft deep by itself. So would it run 26ft deep with 40/40 method? So confused.
