    Default boat sunk

While re-newing my annual tow membership with Rescue Marine they got a distress call from a fisherman in trouble. A bass boat left CSP but got buried near F can when the lake kicked up. The crew got off on a good Sam boat and the swamped boat is slowly being dragged to RMs dock. Non-member cost: $3000.00. A very expensive walleye trip! Never push your boat beyond it's limits and NEVER THE LEAVE THE DOCK WITHOUT TOW INSURANCE!

Scary stuff. How rough was it, if weather was a contributing factor, and not some mechanical situation.

It looks like Moke was the good Sam. These guys are so lucky Moke was close by or the story would have ended differently? No radio and a sinking boat. No wonder. Good job Moke!

Was the water that rough today? A couple reports I read showed 2 footers in the location of the pic.?

    Thanks,

Looking at this picture got me thinking about my towing insurance. I have some through my home owners policy but would like to upgrade. May I ask what company you people use ? Thanks.

A picture or a wave/wind forecast NEVER duplicates conditions! Only if they could.

I have had good luck with rescue marine and boat us. I currently am using boat us because it covers the whole lake. Rescue marine only covers you if you dock west of huron. But both company's have been very good to me.
